SC UPC Bare Fiber Adapter – Quick-Connect Solution for Fiber Testing
The SC UPC Bare Fiber Adapter is a specialized temporary connection device designed for field testing, network maintenance, laboratory verification, and production inspection. It allows stripped and cleaved bare optical fibers to be connected directly to SC-based testing interfaces-without fusion splicing, connector polishing, or assembling a permanent fiber connector.
The adapter features a blue SC/UPC connector on one side for connecting to standard SC adapters, patch cords, optical power meters, light sources, OTDR ports, and other compatible test equipment, with a mechanical clamp on the other end to securely hold the bare fiber in place.
